e-book pricing madness continues…

As noted before on this blog, something is very wrong with the pricing of e-books… see the example of the novel Pathfinder by Card..

As the above example shows, the differences seem to get only larger! Recently, I bought a Pocketbook 602, which I really like. But I’m not going to pay more for the digital version than for the dead-tree-version! :-(

I knew people have aquariums, of course. I would even like to have one myself. (But I don’t have the space!). But hat people would have aquariums without any fish in them (or rather, the fact that de aquarium is not about the fish!) is something I did not know…


This is only about the plants, or the ‘aquascape’. Some people allow some fish:


Obviously, this is great to look at… and sort of an ‘artform’, not unlike gardening… And of course you get contests…

God Makes Surprise Visit To Local Church

The Onion is at it again:

Parishioners at the First Presbyterian Church were left stunned and in awe of His glory Sunday, when the Lord God Almighty dropped by their 11 a.m. service unannounced.
