Bill Maher: The Environment Is The Ultimate Health Care Issue
Maher was blown away by Holmes’ skepticism and shot down Johnson for opposing cap and trade legislation. Maher pointed out that Republicans weren’t so disgusted by cap and trade when George H.W. Bush used it to stop acid rain.
It’s amazing how hard it is to get through to these people… :-(

The Onion had been known to be spot-on before and I think this time is no exception. The problem is that most people don’t think twice about this when in fact, they should. It is the same with throwaway plastic bags. Just one don’t matter. But millions of times a day it becomes a big problem…

New traffic lights use LED’s to generate the light – and because of that, they don’t generate warmth…

I don’t get it…
Already 85 percent of Sumatra’s forests are gone. What is left is vanishing at an alarming rate — an area the size of 50 football fields disappears every hour, according to Greenpeace and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
To make paper, they destroy this unique environment. It should make you weep…

China is filling up – with trash….
The amount of trash (real trash, not crappy products!) the Chinese are producing is growing very rapidly:
Lets hope that as the problems over there get bigger, they start worrying more about the amount of products they can produce while sustaining a healthy environment…
